Lincat has introduced a 3kW high-volume model to its FilterFlow FX series of automatic water boilers with built-in filtration.
Supplied with a UK 3 pin plug, the 31-litre capacity EB3FX/TALL delivers a rapid draw off of 17 litres of high-quality filtered water from a narrow 250mm footprint, saving valuable counter space without compromising capacity or performance.
As with other models in the FilterFlow range, the EB3FX/TALL is operated from a large touchscreen display. Menu navigation is quick and easy, with both the temperature and timer simple to adjust. The display provides updates on the boiler’s operating status and, if required, step-by-step maintenance instructions.
Energy efficiency is a key feature. The EB3FX/TALL has a predictive eco setting, which learns from usage patterns and switches to low-energy mode for quieter periods and is capable of reducing the volume of water boiled by up to 50%. In addition, a 7-day timer allows the boiler to be programmed to switch off overnight or at weekends to conserve energy.
A screw cap indicator probe monitors lime scale build-up, and an effective descale function helps to avoid engineer call outs. All Lincat water boilers come with a high-volume, easy-change FilterFlow cartridge.
Helen Applewhite, Marketing Manager at Lincat, commented:
“The EB3FX/TALL has the same dimensions and look as our popular EB6FX, but without the need for hard wiring, which makes installation quick and simple. The capacity is larger than the EB3FX, so has a higher rapid draw off, making it perfect for establishments that require a high volume of filtered boiling water, quickly. Whether on a back bar or in a kitchen, the EB3FX/TALL’s slimline design and narrow footprint takes up little counter space.”
