Lincat has created a series of six new videos for its website. Hosted by Lincat’s Development Chef Paul Hickman, the films demonstrate the capacity and versatility of Lincat’s Opus SelfCooking Center 5 Senses combi steamers, as well as just how easy they are to use.
Featuring the very latest ‘intelligent’ technology, Lincat’s Opus SelfCooking Center 5 Senses combi steamers have the capacity to change the way kitchens operate. With the ability to combine dry heat and steam, they can be used to grill, roast, bake, steam, stew, blanch or poach. They save time, produce excellent results consistently and reduce energy consumption. They do, however, require things to be done differently, as Paul Hickman explains: “If you have never used a combi steamer before, the prospect can be quite daunting. It’s difficult to imagine, for example, how you might be able to cook an entire English breakfast of sausages, fried eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, black pudding and hash browns in a single unit in less than 10 minutes. One of our new films shows just how easy this is to do. He continued… “Other films demonstrate: overnight cooking, steaming different products at the same time, baking pastries, à la carte food production and how to use the unit’s self clean system. They are intended to complement the series of Opus SelfCooking Center 5 Senses live cookery workshops we run throughout the year, which give people who are thinking of investing an opportunity to see the units in action and put them through their paces.”
Attendance at Opus SelfCooking Center 5 Senses live cookery workshops is completely free of charge. Interested parties should contact the sales department on 01522 875500 if they would like to attend.
