Lincat has added a new compact, general purpose convection oven to its popular Convector series.

The new CO343 model, which is available with Manual+ and Touch controls, has been developed in response to feedback from operators who require ovens with a reduced footprint, yet high-capacity output.

Helen Applewhite, Marketing Manager of Lincat, says:

“The CO343 is the result of a fantastic response to the launch of our powerful, feature-packed Convector convection ovens, which we unveiled at the Commercial Kitchen Show last year. Although it is the smallest model in the range, the CO343 doesn’t hold back on capacity, features or power. We are really excited to bring this innovative and powerful new oven to the market and have high hopes that it will become a firm Lincat favourite.”

Able to accommodate up to four 1/1 gastronorms and with two-speed, bi-directional fans for supremely even, controlled cooking, the CO343 delivers high output and is conveniently powered by a 13amp plug.

Both the Manual+ and Touch models offer timed cooking, with accurate temperature control. At the end of the cooking cycle, a buzzer sounds, and flashing ‘ready’ lights illuminate the whole cabinet until the door is opened.

The Touch model (CO343T) is operated by an intuitive touchscreen to deliver a broader range of cooking options, sophisticated control and customisation. It can be operated in three easy-to-use modes – manual, rack timer for each of the four 1/1 gastronorms, or phased cooking.

The ‘phased’ option allows users to programme up to four cooking stages or ‘phases’. Individual temperatures, fan speeds and times can be assigned to each. As such they are perfect for baking, bake-off, roasting, braising and reheating in a wide range of settings, from restaurants and retail outlets, to butchers’ shops and garden centres.

As with all Lincat products sold in the UK, the CO343 will be supplied with a comprehensive, two-year parts and labour warranty. If a piece of equipment does need repairing, it can be done quickly and easily by service engineers, minimising downtime and inconvenience.
