We’re delighted to announce that Lincat has been shortlisted for the Supplier of the Year – New Product Development (Kitchen Efficiency) award for our innovative Opus 800 Ignite electric chargrill.
The award recognises manufacturers developing innovative commercial kitchen equipment that improves efficiency and delivers measurable benefits to hospitality and foodservice operators, making this a fantastic achievement for the entire Lincat team.
Designed to help operators transition from gas to electric without compromising on performance or flavour, the British-built Opus 800 Ignite combines real flame technology with an energy-efficient electric design. It uses 41% less energy than conventional electric direct-cook chargrills, is three times faster to clean, and offers up to 23% more usable cooking space, helping kitchens improve productivity while reducing energy consumption.
This shortlist is a testament to the collaboration, expertise and dedication of teams across Lincat. From concept and design through to manufacturing and launch, Ignite is the result of everyone working together to create an innovative product that delivers real value for our customers.
