Lincat has launched a feel-good art competition for children of those in the catering and hospitality trade.
Kids are being asked to choose the favourite snack, cake or dessert they enjoy making, and draw a picture of it. We’re asking parents to then email the drawing, along with the recipe and their child’s age, to us – and we will post it on our Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Split into four age categories (4 years and under, 5-7 years, 8-11 years and 12+ years), the best drawing in each group will be chosen, with winners getting a £15 Amazon voucher.
Helen Applewhite, Marketing Manager at Lincat, commented:
“With the recent closure of schools and catering outlets, we wanted to do something as a show of support to our industry, and to help parents keep their children entertained over the next few weeks. As many of us cook and bake regularly with our children, we thought it would be a good idea to run a little culinary competition for our chefs of the future.
“We will showcase everyone’s hard work on Lincat’s website as well as social media channels and recipes will be shared, so parents can give some tried and tested dishes a go.”
To enter:
– Ask your child for their favourite recipe – sweet or savoury.
– Ask them to draw a picture of the finished product.
– Take a picture of their drawing and email along with the recipe and your child’s age to helen.applewhite@lincat.co.uk
– Closing date Tuesday 31st March 2020.
