Lincat has formed a new partnership with its sister company, the Danish combi steamer specialist Hounö, to offer Hounö’s extensive range of advanced combi ovens to the UK market under the Lincat brand.
The new collection features two core product ranges – Visual Cooking and CombiSlim – both of which provide high output from a compact footprint.
Measuring just 513mm wide yet accommodating 1/1GN trays, CombiSlim is perfect for front of house and compact kitchens where space is limited but high output and consistent results are needed.
The multi-functional Visual Cooking models are ideal for large-scale catering operations where high output and precise control is required. The vast range of cooking modes and features meet the needs of any demanding kitchen and give operators plenty of room for fine adjustments. Visual Cooking models are available with injection and hybrid steam (boiler and injection) technology.
Ease of use and connectivity is at the heart of Lincat’s new combis. They’re controlled using Android-based SmartTouch®, an intuitive touch control display, and feature SmartChef® pre-set recipes, making operation simple and seamless for kitchen staff of all levels.
Helen Applewhite, Marketing Manager at Lincat, commented:
“Hounö is a well-established brand in a broad cross-section of catering operations, from retail and bakery, to chains, fast-food restaurants and hotels. It’s great, therefore, to be able to offer Hounö combis under the Lincat brand.
“This new deal supports our on-going business development strategy – which is to broaden and strengthen our portfolio to enable dealers and end users to design, plan and purchase their entire kitchen from a single supplier.”
Visual Cooking units are equipped with additional, innovative features. For accurate humidity control, ClimaOptima measures humidity in the cabinet and automatically adjusts it throughout the cooking process to ensure perfect, repeatable results every time. With up to 10 humidity levels, the CombiSmart® function allows users to manually set oven temperature and humidity, to minimise shrinkage, and improve the appearance and flavour of food.
For easy monitoring, all new combis are equipped with RackTimer® on select cooking modes, where up to 20 timers can be set for individual racks and items.
Additional features on both Visual Cooking and CombiSlim models include CombiWash®, an automatic cleaning system which can be used after service to save on staff time and operating costs, through low consumption of energy, water and detergent.
Demonstrations of the new Visual Cooking and CombiSlim models can be arranged at locations across the UK – contact your Lincat business development manager.
