Lincat Enhances Safety with Fryer Chief
Lincat has announced the addition of a new safety feature, Fryer Chief, to their FriFri Touch fryers. This essential feature monitors oil levels and detects low levels to prevent flare-ups and fires, protecting operators and customers from harm while also safeguarding the fryer and premises from potential costly fire damage and associated downtime.
Software monitors the oil level and valve mechanism to guard against human errors, such as turning on the fryer without checking the oil level or leaving the drain valve open.
If Fryer Chief is triggered operators are presented with easy-to-understand instructions to enable them to get the fryer back up and running safely.
Paul Godfrey, Sales & Marketing Director, said: “We believe that investing in software development is crucial to helping our customers. To cater to varying skill levels, Touch models are the most autonomous of our fryers, perfect for the busiest of professional kitchens who are seeking quality results every time. In a bid to safeguard businesses utilising the autonomy of our Touch models, Fryer Chief is now a standard feature as opposed to a chargeable extra. This decision was made to ensure that our customers’ operations are protected.”
As with all Lincat products sold in the UK, FriFri fryers are supplied with a comprehensive, two-year parts and labour warranty. The tanks are supplied with a 10 year warranty.
