Lincat strengthens sales team with new appointment

Lincat has appointed Lewis Beer as Business Development Manager for the south of England. Lewis, who previously spent six years at catering equipment supplier Nisbets, will manage some of Lincat’s existing key accounts in this region, as well as securing new business.

At Nisbets, Lewis spent a year in the corporate sales office, before becoming Key Account manager for Bristol, Bath and Dorset, where a successful couple of years saw him crowned Key Account Manager of the Year two years’ running. His talent meant he was promoted to National Account Manager for the pubs and leisure sector, a role which he was in for a year before joining Lincat.

As Business Development Manager for the south, Lewis will be working closely with Lincat’s extensive network of dealers to provide the very best advice and support.

Mike Woodman, National Sales Manager at Lincat, said:

“Lewis brings an in-depth knowledge of the dealer network to Lincat, as well as a fantastic eye for identifying new business opportunities. His flair for building customer relationships and his approach to sales, by partnering with businesses to get the right solution, makes him a valuable addition to the team. We’re delighted to have Lewis on board.”

In his spare time, Bristol-based Lewis plays semi-professional rugby union for Cinderford RFC in Gloucestershire. He also enjoys going to the gym and socialising with friends when he’s not at work.

On joining Lincat, he commented:

“To be working with dealers, rather than for them, is a whole new direction for me and I’m excited about the challenge. I’ve worked closely with the Lincat team for the past six years, so I’m looking forward to building my knowledge of the company’s product portfolio even further and seeking out new business opportunities.”
