Lincat launches new easy-to-navigate, feature rich website
Lincat, the UK’s leading manufacturer of commercial catering equipment, has launched a new, easy-to-navigate, feature rich website.
With enhanced product search facilities, a new product compare tool, customer advice section, language convertor and dedicated dealer area, the new site is set to become the online hub of Lincat’s marketing and communications activity.
“Lincat manufactures over 450 different pieces of catering equipment including fryers, griddles, grills, ovens and combi steamers, as well as beverage equipment, hot cupboards, trolleys and food display merchandisers”, said Nick McDonald, Marketing Director of Lincat. “The choice can therefore be a little overwhelming. So the main purpose of our website re-design has been to make it simpler for customers and dealers to find the products they’re looking for, as well as to provide useful advice and guidance.”
The website’s search facility now enables visitors to search by product type as well as by product range. This enables those who are not already familiar with Lincat’s branded ranges including Lynx 400, Silverlink 600 and Opus 700 still to find what they need. The product comparison tool then enables them to assess the merits of one product against alternatives.
The site’s advice and guidance sections provide valuable information and resources for customers and dealers alike. FAQs, a weights and measures convertor tool and the facility to download brochures, product specification sheets and technical data are good examples of what’s on offer for end users. Dealers are able to register their details to gain access to a dedicated dealer section.
The new site is designed to be easy to read and navigate. It’s built to the latest web standards and is fully search engine optimised.
