Lincat, FriFri and Q90 to exhibit at Gulfood, Dubai, February 2014

Lincat, FriFri and Q90 will be travelling to the Middle East in February to exhibit a wide range of professional catering equipment at the region’s largest trade fair, Gulfood. Gulfood will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, from February 23rd to 27th 2014.

Lincat, FriFri and Q90 are all manufactured at Middleby’s centre of manufacturing excellence at Lincat’s factory in Lincoln, in the UK. They will be exhibiting in the exhibition’s Za’abeel Hall on the following stands: Lincat, Z-F52; FriFri, Z-L48; and Q90, Z-G45.

Rachel Smith, Lincat’s Marketing Manager, explains:

“The hospitality sector is growing quickly in the Middle East, thanks to the awarding of Expo 2020 to Dubai, the World Cup to Qatar in 2022 and the extensive hotel build programme in Saudi Arabia. We therefore believe that Gulfood presents a great opportunity for Lincat, FriFri and Q90.”

She continued…

“We want to offer a well-designed British-made alternative to the European produced brands which dominate the region. And, since Middelby is soon to open a new showroom in the region, with sales and service support, the timing of this exhibition is perfect.

“It will also be an opportunity for us to improve our understanding of the food and hospitality sector in this area, and what clients want from catering equipment manufacturers. This event will enable us to gain valuable feedback.”

Items from Q90, Middleby’s new modular range of 900mm deep commercial catering equipment, will be displayed in a typical cook line. Ventilation will be provided by sister company, Britannia. Experienced sales personnel from Lincat, Q90 and FriFri will also be on-hand to help visitors.

Lincat Ltd manufactures one of the world’s most comprehensive ranges of catering equipment. Products are sold in the UK and in over 50 countries worldwide through a comprehensive network of distributors. Lincat Ltd is a member company of the Middleby Corporation.
