Five extra powered griddles join Lincat’s Silverlink 600 range
Lincat, the UK’s leading manufacturer of commercial catering equipment, has added five extra powered griddles to its market leading Silverlink 600 range of gas and electric modular cooking equipment.
Built to withstand the rigours of the busiest professional kitchen, the griddles are available in a range of sizes and power levels.
The new additions include four machine steel plate griddles. These range from the GS3/E, a 300mm wide, 2.5kW griddle, capable of cooking up to 88 beef burgers per hour, to the GS7/E which, at 750mm wide and with 7kW of power, is big and powerful enough to cook up to 220 burgers, or 170 steaks, per hour.
The fifth new griddle, the GS6/TR/E, is a 600mm wide, 5.6kW unit, which features a half-ribbed plate, to give food an appealing “branded” appearance.
All five offer the high performance and reliability expected of the Silverlink 600 range, with fully welded, solid 12mm thick machined steel plates for even heat distribution and excellent heat retention.
The griddles have 2mm thick, 40mm high integral splashguards; thermostatic controls for consistent performance; large fat drainage channels to keep surfaces free of grease, and large, removable fat collection drawers for ease of cleaning.
Lincat marketing manager Helen Applewhite said:

And since they are covered by our comprehensive two year, onsite parts and labour warranty, users can invest in confidence.”
