New appointments expand Lincat's team of application chefs

Lincat has appointed two new chefs to its team of application chefs.

Paul Hickman, Gary Phipps, Tony Carnall and Rob FairhurstThe team’s role is to work with Lincat Development Chef, Paul Hickman, to provide free on-site training to the purchaser of each new Opus SelfCooking Center (OSC) combi steamer. The new recruits, Gary Phipps from Worcester and Wigan-based Rob Fairhurst, have recently completed an intensive training programme at Lincat’s headquarters in Lincoln.

"The Opus SelfCooking Center has brought push button technology to cooking," said Paul Hickman, Lincat Development Chef. "It really is simplicity itself, you just select the food and how you want it cooked, the OSC does the rest with perfect results, every time. Nevertheless using any combi steamer does require you to do things differently. As a result free training has always been a popular and valuable part of the Lincat package for Opus SelfCooking Centers."

He continued…

"However sales have increased in recent months and life has been getting rather hectic! It’s great therefore to welcome our new chefs to the team. We now have a good geographic spread throughout the UK, and are well placed to continue to provide practical on-site training to customers wherever they may be located."

Lincat's Opus Combi Steamers are perfect for roasting, baking, poaching, grilling or pan frying, and represent a quantum leap forward in terms of their ease of use, performance and cost saving capacity. In total there are twelve Opus SelfCooking Centers to choose from, ranging in price from the OSC61 (6 x 1/1 GN) electric model priced at £6,620 to the OSC202 G (20 x 2/1 GN) gas version at £24,999.

To enable potential purchasers to see the SelfCooking Centers in action, Lincat hold live cooking workshops at various locations throughout the UK each year. Full details can be found by visiting Lincat’s website: www.lincat.co.uk
