Lincat to unveil automatic water boiler with built-in filtration at Hotelympia 2008 Stand No: N2131

Lincat will unveil the prototype of its new range of Automatic ‘Filter Flow’ Water Boilers, with built-in filtration, at Hotelympia 2008, Stand No: N2131. Due to be launched in summer 2008, these will be the first automatic water boilers, from any manufacturer, to feature convenient and cost effective built-in water filtration. The new range will also feature onboard diagnostics and an LCD panel to keep the user fully informed of the status of the boiler.

auto bolier“A water filter is recommended with all water boilers to reduce scale build-up and improve the taste and quality of beverages”, said Nick McDonald, Marketing & Export Director of Lincat Ltd. “With conventional boilers, it is necessary to plumb a separate filter upstream of the boiler.  This is unattractive and adds costs. Eliminating the need for a separate filtration unit, our new “FilterFlow” system will ensure that water is always, automatically, of the highest quality. We believe that this development will set the trend for future water boiler design. ”

He continued…

“We shall also incorporate comprehensive onboard diagnostics with an easy to read LCD panel.  This will show the operational status of the boiler and will also remind users when to order a new filter and when exactly to change it. Whilst other manufacturers generally charge a premium for such features, we intend to offer them at no extra cost in the standard unit”

There will be four new models in the range, the EB3F, EB4F, EB6F and EB6FT. They will replace Lincat’s existing range of water boilers and it is expected that the new, improved boilers will be offered at a similar price to the boilers they replace.

In addition to the new water boilers, Hotelympia will see the launch of Lincat’s new ranges of atmospheric steamers; fryers with built-in filtration; and convection ovens.  Visitors will also be able to see products from Lincat’s established ranges including light, medium and heavy duty cooking equipment from the Lynx 400, Silverlink 600 and Opus 700 ranges; high performance Opus Combi Steamers; the Seal range of food display merchandisers and Panther hot cupboards.
