Lincat launches ‘FilterFlow’ automatic water boilers with built-in filtration

Lincat has launched an innovative range of ‘FilterFlow’ automatic water boilers, with convenient and cost effective built-in water filtration. Designed to reduce damaging scale build up and provide a continuous supply of high quality, filtered water to improve the taste and quality of hot beverages, these stylish new boilers are available from Lincat distributors.

filterflow“A water filter is recommended with all water boilers and not simply because filtered water makes better tea! The build up of scale can seriously compromise the performance of water boilers over time, making them more expensive to run and prone to breakdowns”, said Nick McDonald, Marketing Director of Lincat Ltd.

“That’s why with a conventional boiler it is necessary to plumb a separate filter upstream of the unit. However this can be unattractive and it certainly adds to the cost. So by eliminating the need for a separate filtration unit, our new ‘FilterFlow’ system will ensure that water is always, automatically, of the highest quality. We believe that this development sets a new standard for water boiler design.”
He added…

“A number of our new boilers are already out in the field, being tested by catering establishments of different types and sizes. I’m pleased to say that their initial feedback is excellent, with encouraging reports of better tasting tea and coffee. Customers are also pleased with their sleek new styling and by the fact that they can now promote the fact that their drinks are made with filtered water.”

There are four new FilterFlow models in the range which will replace Lincat’s existing range of water boilers. Each new boiler features comprehensive onboard diagnostics with an easy to read LCD panel.  This shows the operational status of the boiler and reminds users when to order a new filter and when exactly to change it. The filter cartridge is as easy to change as a light bulb, with no need to disconnect the water supply or seek the help of a service engineer or plumber.

Lincat strives to provide exceptional value for money by offering, where possible, enhanced products at the same price as the models they replace. This has been achieved with the new FilterFlow automatic water boilers which are priced at: £434 for the EB3F, £514 for the EB4F, £560 for the EB6F and £607 for the EB6FT.

Lincat Ltd is part of the Lincat Group of companies. Sister companies IMC Ltd and Britannia Kitchen Ventilation Ltd operate in the commercial catering equipment sector. Lincat Group company Mercury Appliances Ltd designs and manufactures domestic cooking appliances.
