Lincat launch new Lynx 400 convection oven

Lincat has introduced a compact, 2.5kW convection oven as part of its new generation of Lynx 400 electric, countertop cooking equipment.

Lynx 400 convection ovenIdeal for pubs, leisure clubs, smaller restaurants and cafés, the new Lynx 400 convection oven takes 1/2 GN containers and is perfect for baking and roasting. Easy to install, thanks to its standard cable and 13 amp plug, the new oven is fan assisted, which ensures uniform heat and consistent results.

The new Lynx 400 convection oven features a double glazed door and internal light for safe, energy-efficient operation. Its two removable chromed rod shelves and vitreous enamelled interior facilitate cleaning, whilst robust door hinges and a positive door catch illustrate the overall high standard of manufacture. The inner door glass, seal and bulb have all been designed to be easy for users to replace, in order to keep service calls to a minimum. The new oven is priced at £495.

“Shortage of space need not mean a limited choice of fresh, hot food for customers”, said Nick McDonald, Marketing and Export Director of Lincat Ltd. “Our new Lynx 400 convection oven is ideal for smaller outlets of all kinds, as well as for specialist use in larger kitchens. But compact size does not mean compromised quality. Lincat design engineers have paid just as much attention to the design of this oven, as they have paid to the design of larger equipment in our market leading Silverlink 600 and Opus 700 ranges.”

Altogether there are 36 new products in the Lynx 400 range. In addition to the convection oven the range includes fryers, a chip scuttle, grills, contact/panini grills, griddles, bains marie, boiling tops, pasta boiler and a pizza oven. Each product in the range has been rigorously tested by Lincat’s development chef to ensure it performs exactly to specification. All Lynx 400 equipment is backed by a comprehensive 12 months parts and labour warranty. This is supported by a wide network of service engineers with access to a large UK stockholding of spare parts.

Lincat Ltd is part of the Lincat Group of companies. Sister companies IMC Ltd and Britannia Kitchen Ventilation Ltd operate in the commercial catering equipment sector. Lincat Group company Mercury Appliances Ltd designs and manufactures domestic cooking appliances.
