Lincat launch high output, compact conveyor toaster

Lincat Ltd, the leading UK manufacturer of commercial catering equipment, has launched a high output, conveyor toaster. Capable of producing up to 340 slices of toast per hour by accommodating two slices of bread, side-by-side, the CT1 is designed to meet the needs of the busiest commercial kitchen or self-service breakfast buffet. It is also ideal for producing large volumes of other toasted products such as crumpets, muffins, burger buns, teacakes, and bagels.

conveyor toasterThe conveyor speed of the CT1 and the heat of both the upper and lower elements can be adjusted to ensure even and accurate toasting, whatever the product. It also offers a one-sided toasting function which is ideal for teacakes or burger buns. It operates from a standard 13 amp supply and requires no special installation. As with all Lincat equipment its performance and output figures are verified by Lincat Development Chef, Paul Hickman. Paul’s accurate performance statistics even include details of output possible for different degrees of browning. The CT1 is priced at £699.

“As with all Lincat products, the CT1 is manufactured from high quality, robust components to guarantee long, trouble-free service”, said Nick McDonald, Marketing and Export Director of Lincat Ltd. “Safety is also a key requirement for every Lincat product and we have equipped the CT1 with an internal cooling fan and effective insulation to ensure that its exterior panels remain relatively cool. This is particularly important for a piece of equipment which is likely to be used in a public space.”

In addition to the CT1, Lincat offers two slot toasters: the LT4X four slot model priced at £153, and the LT6X six slot at £189. Manufactured from mirrored stainless steel and designed with stylish curves and a contemporary, minimalist feel, they too are ideal for front of house operation and provide the performance required by modern busy catering establishments.

Overall there are more than 450 products in the Lincat range including: fryers, griddles, grills, ovens and combi steamers as well as beverage equipment, hot cupboards, trolleys and food display merchandisers. Excellent customer service is provided through Lincat’s extensive national and international dealer network.   Lincat Ltd is part of the Lincat Group of companies. Sister companies IMC Ltd and Britannia Kitchen Ventilation Ltd operate in the commercial catering equipment sector. Lincat Group company Mercury Appliances Ltd designs and manufactures domestic cooking appliances.
