Lincat introduce two new 900mm wide Opus 700 griddles

As part of its ongoing programme of new product development, Lincat has added two new powerful half ribbed 900mm wide griddles to its Opus 700 range of prime cooking equipment.

Opus 700 griddlesOffering a large and versatile cooking area, each of the griddles (one gas and one electric) is capable of delivering high output and rapid heat up. They can be supplied for counter top use, or with an optional floor stand.

“A ribbed cooking surface gives foods such as chicken or steak an attractive branded appearance”, said Nick McDonald, Marketing and Export Director of Lincat Ltd. “A flat surface is ideal for all griddled products. But with no fewer than nine griddles to choose from, Lincat’s Opus 700 range offers a griddle for every application. In addition to these new half-ribbed variants, the range includes models with machined steel and chrome cooking plates.”

Manufactured from hygienic stainless steel and with fully welded construction, the new griddles feature independently controlled twin heat zones. These enable the user to cook different foods at the same time, or to reduce energy costs by operating just one zone in quieter periods. Precise thermostatic control contributes to their cost saving efficiency, whilst multiple burners and a 16mm thick griddle plates assure even heat distribution.

To ensure quick, easy cleaning, the griddles feature flush radiused sides and a wide fat drainage hole. A large fat collection drawer allows uninterrupted cooking, and gas models are equipped with a piezo ignition and pilot burner for stand-by operation. The new griddles are priced at £2107 for the gas model OG7208 and £1510 for the electric alternative, model OE7209.
