Lincat introduce new contact grills to the Lynx 400 range

Lincat has launched a range of contact/panini grills as part of its new generation of Lynx 400 electric, countertop cooking equipment.

Lynx 400 contact grill Perfect for the rapid cooking of steaks, burgers, chicken fillets, toasted sandwiches and paninis, the new models offer fast heat up, excellent heat retention and precise thermostatic control. Their sleek, attractive styling makes them ideal for front of house operation.

There are six new contact/panini grills in total, with a choice of smooth, ribbed or combination (smooth lower and ribbed upper) cooking plates. Each is available as a compact, 2.25kW single head or a high capacity twin-head, 2 x 2.5kW unit. Hourly output of 225g 8oz steaks, medium cooked, range from 36 for the compact LCG, to 72 for the twin-head LCG2. Single units are priced at £343 and twin models are £510.

“First class performance, ease of use and safety of operation have been the key objectives of our new range of contact/panini grills. A well balanced, smooth mechanism with secure ‘park’ position, is just one example of how this has been achieved”, said Nick McDonald, Marketing and Export Director of Lincat Ltd. “We have also ensured that cleaning is effortless thanks to enamelled, cast iron cooking plates. We believe that our new contact/panini grills represent excellent value for money.”

Lincat has also redesigned and updated its popular 3kW Lynx 400 GG1 contact grill, which can now be specified with either smooth, ribbed or combination cooking plates. Manufactured from cast aluminium, with mica elements, these provide extremely even heat and precise control, making them perfect even for delicate products such as omelettes. Coated with PFTE-based non-stick coating, they are easy to clean and a spatula is supplied as standard. Thanks to improvements in manufacturing efficiencies the new, enhanced GG1 contact grill is being introduced at the new, lower price of £659.

Altogether there are 36 new products in the Lynx 400 range. In addition to contact/panini grills the range includes fryers, a chip scuttle, grills, griddles, bains marie, boiling tops, pasta boiler, a pizza oven and a convection oven. Each product in the range has been rigorously tested by Lincat’s development chef to ensure it performs exactly to specification. All Lynx 400 equipment is backed by a comprehensive 12 months parts and labour warranty. This is supported by a wide network of service engineers with access to a large UK stockholding of spare parts.
