Half a million reasons to buy Lincat equipment

In this difficult economic climate the ability to repair, rather than replace, catering equipment assumes ever greater importance. As a result, the prompt availability of spare parts becomes critical, according to Lincat Ltd, the UK’s leading manufacturer of commercial catering equipment.

spare partsNick McDonald, Marketing Director of Lincat Ltd, explains:

“Whilst all Lincat products are designed and built to give trouble-free service, components do sometimes fail.  If you need a replacement thermostat, seal or control switch, the chances are you will need it quickly. We are able to meet that requirement because we manufacture new equipment here in the UK, and maintain a stockholding of more than half a million components to support that production. Access to this resource enables us to supply replacement parts within 2 to 3 days.”

He continued…

“We hold spares for all current equipment as well models that went out of production up to five years ago.  We have even been known to supply a spare part for a piece of equipment that was 15-years-old! So when you buy catering equipment from Lincat you can be assured of a high-level of after-sales service, which an obscure or imported brand is unlikely to be able to match. And if you have a particularly urgent requirement, you can telephone our Spare Parts Sales Department for details of our express delivery services.”

There are 3,500 items in the Lincat Spare Parts Price List, including components for: fryers, griddles, grills, ovens and combi steamers, as well as for beverage equipment, hot cupboards, trolleys and food display merchandisers.

Lincat Ltd is part of the Lincat Group of companies. Sister companies IMC Ltd and Britannia Kitchen Ventilation Ltd operate in the commercial catering equipment sector. Lincat Group company Mercury Appliances Ltd designs and manufactures domestic cooking appliances.
