Established in 1971, our products have gone from strength to strength. And so too has our reputation. Today, the Lincat brand is synonymous with outstanding product reliability; sturdy, durable construction; and first-class technical support. In short Lincat stands for quality. - Lincat Limited formed at Station Road in Lincoln.
- 1979
- Lincat attends its first overseas exhibition - Internorga, Hamburg.
- 1983
- The "Lynx" range of countertop electric equipment launched, a development from the "Small Bar" range.
- 1984
- The "Silverlink" range of modular electric equipment launched, a development from the "Large Bar" range.
- 1988
- Gas powered products added to the "Silverlink" range.
- 1988
- Lincat Limited floated on the London Stock Exchange, as part of Lincat Group Plc.
- 1997
- Production of Seal Display Products joins Lincat in Lincoln.
- 1997
- Lincat voted "Best Supplier of Heavy Equipment" by members of the Catering Equipment Distributors Association (CEDA).
- 1997
- Lincat moves to 70,000sq. ft. (7,000sq. m.) brand new factory at Whisby Road, Lincoln.
- 1998
- Lincat's new premises are formally opened by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.
- 1998
- Lincat voted "Best Supplier of Heavy Equipment" for the second year in succession.
- 1999
- The "Opus 700" range of medium-heavy duty prime cooking equipment launched.
- 2000
- Launch of the "Opus Combi Steamer" range of combination ovens.
- 2001
- Factory extension completed, enlarging the Whisby Road premises to 100,000 sq. ft. (10,000 sq. m.).
- 2002
- Lincat voted "Best Supplier of Heavy Equipment" for the third time in six years by members of the Catering Equipment Distributors Association (CEDA).
- 2003
- Lincat voted "Best Supplier of Heavy Equipment" for the fourth time in seven years by members of the Catering Equipment Distributors Association (CEDA).
- 2003
- The new generation of Silverlink 600 modular catering equipment is launched.
- 2004
- New generation of Opus Combi Steamers launched, including the world's first SelfCooking Center®.
- 2005
- Newly redesigned range of Seal countertop food display merchandisers launched.
- 2007
- The new generation of Lynx 400 compact counter top cooking equipment is launched
